A native of New Orleans, Michael J. Monistere (B.S., 1988, University of New Orleans; J.D., 1991, Loyola University New Orleans) grew up in Metairie, Louisiana, and graduated from Archbishop Rummel High School in 1983.Following his legal training, he practiced as an Assistant District Attorney with the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office where he was promoted to Senior Trial Attorney, to the Violent Offender Strike Force, and where he tried over 100 cases.
