A native of New Orleans, Michael J. Monistere (B.S., 1988, University of New Orleans; J.D., 1991, Loyola University New Orleans) grew up in Metairie, Louisiana, and graduated from Archbishop Rummel High School in 1983.Following his legal training, he practiced as an Assistant District Attorney with the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office where he was promoted to Senior Trial Attorney, to the Violent Offender Strike Force, and where he tried over 100 cases. Mr. Monistere has practiced civil defense and personal injury law for over 25 years, and is admitted to practice before the Louisiana Supreme Court, all Louisiana state courts, the United States Eastern, Middle, and Western District Courts of Louisiana, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.Admissions1992, Louisiana State Bar Association
