Wyatt P. Savant

Wyatt Savant is an associate in LaFleur & Laborde's New Orleans office practicing primarily with the firm’s Public Finance and Corporate Law teams where he helps guide governmental entities and businesses in complex transactions. Wyatt assists public bodies in local tax elections, municipal bond issuances, tax-exempt financing, and regulatory compliance, ensuring the successful execution of funding strategies for infrastructure projects and community initiatives. His corporate law work includes assisting businesses with entity formation, governance, and human resources, in addition to a wide array of commercial litigation and transactional matters.

Wyatt earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2024. Throughout law school Wyatt gained practical experience as a Law Clerk at LaFleur & Laborde, supporting clients across all practice areas. His focus on public finance earned him the National Association of Bond Lawyers (NABL) student scholarship, giving him the opportunity to attend NABL's "The Essentials" program where he deepened his knowledge of municipal finance law and gained insight into the intricacies of public finance transactions. 

Wyatt holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he graduated cum laude and was named the Outstanding Graduate in Political Science. His background in state and local government and corporate law shapes his legal approach, enabling him to provide solutions that are both practical and responsive to the specific goals of the clients he serves.
