Quinn K. Brown
Associate Attorney
New Orleans native, Quinn Brown joined LaFleur & Laborde in 2022. Ms. Brown graduated from Louisiana State University in 2013, with honors, and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. She then went on to receive her Juris Doctorate and graduate diploma in Comparative Law from the LSU Law Center in May 2017. While in law school, Ms. Brown served as Vice President of The Women's Law Student Association and won the Ira S. Flory Mock Trial Competition. She was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar Association in October 2017.
Prior to joining LaFleur & Laborde, Ms. Brown's practice focused primarily on defending clients in asbestos, toxic torts, products liability and insurance defense litigation. Additionally, she has gained experience in torts relating to premises and general liability, personal injury and insurance coverage disputes. Ms. Brown has worked alongside trial lawyers on local and national cases and has experience representing governmental agencies, corporations, small business owners and insurance carriers in general litigation matters. Ms. Brown also assists in the management, organization and development of litigation strategies that result in efficient and effective defenses of clients and policyholders under all types of liability policies.
Ms. Brown dedicates her time to those most underserved in the community through her Pro Bono work. In 2022, Ms. Brown was recognized as a finalist for the LSBA Young Lawyers Division's Pro Bono Award. Additionally, in 2018, Ms. Brown helped to initiate the Young Leadership Counsel's Mardi Gras Recycling Initiative that partners with the Arc of Greater New Orleans to recycle unwanted beads as well as plastic recyclables for select Mardi Gras parades. During the program's first year alone, the program kept over 10,000 aluminum cans; 2,000 plastic bottles; and 1.25 tons of beads out of Louisiana landfills and catch-basins.
